Common problems and solutions of industrial chiller

a. Leakage (First determine the location of the leak)


1, pump leakage (cause: the shaft seal connection at the pump is not good or the shaft seal is damaged)


Solution: do not change the shaft seal, directly change the pump


2, the water tank is leaking (cause: trachoma or welding for a long time)


Solution: Pull back to the manufacturer to re-weld the leaking position


3. Ball valve, diverter (cause: ball valve, diverter leaks)


Solution: Replace the ball valve and diverter


4. Connection position of the horn of the tube (cause: water leakage at the same horn connection position)


Solution: Remove and re-flare, reinstall


5. Leakage of the float (cause: the float has fallen, or the position of the float is incorrect)


Solution: Reinstall the float and debug the float position


b.No refrigeration (cause: leaking refrigerant in the system, bad compressor, bad computer board, overload)


1, the system leaks refrigerant (check method: first look at the low pressure meter, there is no pressure, no pressure, indicating snow leakage)


Solution: Check for leaks, check for leaks, check that there is no copper pipe connection, and see where the snow leaks


2. The compressor is broken (compressor failure will also be displayed) (check method: clamp the three wires of the compressor with a clamp meter to get the working current. If the three are not the same, the compressor is initially judged to be bad; 5HP compressor current is 9A -10A current is normal, otherwise it is abnormal)


Solution: Replace the compressor


3. The computer board is broken (the display temperature of the computer board is abnormal or does not match the actual temperature)


Solution: Replace the computer board


4. Overload (the temperature does not reach the expected effect during the use of the chiller, or the temperature does not drop, but it will rise)


Solution: Indicate that the power of the optional chiller is not large enough. It may be necessary to replace the larger chiller to reach the required temperature.


c. low-temperature fault reported by the chiller


1. Leakage of refrigerant in the system (check the low-pressure meter first to see if there is any pressure. If there is no pressure or the pressure is low, it means snow leakage)


Solution: check for leaks, check every copper pipe connection, and see where the snow is leaking


2, the pressure controller is broken


Solution: Check whether the pressure controller can be reset. If it cannot be reset, replace the pressure controller.


3, the computer board is broken (nothing else is wrong, it may be caused by a computer program error caused by low voltage failure)


Solution: Replace the computer board and adjust the parameters again


4. Filter is blocked (the filter and capillary are lower on one side, but the temperature on the other side will not change, it means the filter is blocked)


Solution: Replace the filter


d. High-voltage alarm (see the high-voltage meter when you turn it on. If you keep going up, a high-voltage alarm will appear)


Generally not a manufacturer's problem, you can solve the customer's problem from the following


1. Is the water in the water tower turned on? Is the cooling water path clear?


2, will the water quality of the water tower be very poor? If you have used it for more than half a year without checking the blisters, you need to clean the water cannon


4. If it is air-cooled, clean the condenser if it is old


5. If none of the above points can solve the problem, it may be a problem with the pressure controller and the computer board. You must replace the pressure controller or the computer board.
